The origin of FINA VALUE goes back to 1988 when a group of investors from Monterrey, Mexico, established a factoring company called "Corporacion Internacional de Factoraje, S.A. de C.V." to satisfy a growing demand for factoring services in Mexico and also to offer other financial services. The name FINA was introduced two years later with the incorporation of FIANZAS FINA in May of 1991. Later that year, FINA ARRENDA came into being and in that same month the name of the factoring company was modified to FINA FACTOR.
